The 2010 Blade Show and International Cutlery Fair- Atlanta, Georgia We had such a wonderful show! What a great honor to be part of Knife Dogs, as they really put on the dog! It was great to meet new folks and re-acquaint with so many that we only see once a year.
All of our VIP's showed up and seemed to enjoy themselves too. They came from SC, PA and MS to see the sites and take it all in, a tall order!
Alabama Damascus boys are super and so is Asheville Steel. TOPS is tops and we look forward to talking more with you guys soon.
from Miss Lora: Thank you, Bill Adams for the excellent meal and for the pleasure of meeting more of your friends and associates. I can't think of when I had a more enjoyable evening. I don't know of any other French/Zen/Jim Morrison restaurant in the world where I can be serenaded from the street below!
Of course, didn't get to see it all or do it all. Hope to have more help at our table next year so we can get out more. Any takers?

COME SEE US AT THE 2010 BLADE SHOW TABLE 26-AA
The 2009 Blade Show & International Cutlery Fair
Cobb Galleria, Atlanta, Georgia Friday, May 29th through Sunday, May 31st
We had such a great show this year! The crowds were pretty large and sales reflected it. Sales is such a small part of the show scene, though: Catching up to old friends, making new friends, meeting customers that were previously only known through emails, getting great handle materials, finding new business ideas and new businesses...just a few of the great things about The Blade.
Robb and Nick from Paragon-- are just the best folks to be with and it is just a pleasure to be given the materials and the leighway to create unique blades from me to Paragon exclusively.
Mr. Rodney Shelton-- always an extreme pleasure and honor to talk with. His lovely wife, Charlotte made the trip as well. Our love to both.
I met a ton of my vendors and customers! Among them-- the fine ladies from Jantz, Sherri Lott from Green River Leather, great folks at Sheffield, Kami from Burr King, David of Great Lakes Waterjet, Ethan Becker of Becker Knives, Scott James (not the mama), Bill Jones, the Alabama Damascus boys....just to name A FEW!
It looks like this may be the only show we do this year! Glad it was a GREAT one!

Parkers' Greatest Knife Show On Earth Sevierville Tennessee November 20-22, 2008
Well, we knew it would be tough to get crowds in with the economy the way it is, but we did not expect bad weather and closed roads to add to the equation. What was heartening was to hear the great lengths folks went to just to be there....
It was really exciting to meet in person those of you from BladeForums and from Ramanon that hurdled the obstacles to meet us.
We had a great time with Robb Anderson of Paragon Asheville Steel and thank him very much for inviting us. We strengthened business relationships and friendships as well.
Nick and Joyce from Horizon Outdoors are super folks and really made our show successful. We couldn't have done it without them, so go check out their site at nicnac.net

Thanks for taking the Time to Meet Your Maker!
2008 Blade Show & International Cutlery Fair
Cobb Galleria, Atlanta, Georgia Friday, May 30- Sunday June 1
We sure did have a great time at The Blade this year! I met lots of BladeForums members and makers I have been wanting to meet. We sold a few, made some great connections, got new deals going, took some orders. David Manley, Larry Pridgen, Alabama Damascus Steel, Marsh Knives and FlintStone-N-Bone were some of the fine acts around us that kept us sane during our stead.
The weather was pleasant for Georgia this time of year. The crowds were astoundingly great. The table was busy every day, almost all the time so time just flew by, making the 3-days kind of a blur.
Any show that I see Rodney Shelton at is a great show. He is always a pleasure to be around and always has words of encouragement and kindness. Robb and Coley were at our table from Paragon Asheville Steel. I met Nick from Horizon Outdoors and Alex from ARS and hopefully connected with some good projects for the rest of the year. Always good to see Randall King and what he's got going on, Blackie Collins, and everyone loves Bill Adams.
Seeing the fine folks at Burr King was just great and I hope they come down and visit my shop soon. I didn't get the opportunity to test out a Burr King grinder while I was there like I did last year.
If you missed this year's Blade, you missed a lot. We have regrets: not getting to each table and not taking enough pictures!
Blade Show 2008
South Carolina Arms Collectors Association Knife and Gun Show Jamil Temple Columbia, South Carolina November 17-18, 2007
I guess the holiday rush was already showing, as throngs of people crowded and shopped the show tables. Robb from Paragon Asheville Steel was with us again. I was real glad to see more makers there this time- Lee O'Quinn, Ralph Smith, Gene Miller, Manley, Langley, just loads of good talent everywhere.
I donated a knife for raffle to the Shriner's kids. I haven't heard how much it ended up getting for them, but I bet it was a lot considering all the people! Just a really great crowd all around.
This is probably the last show this year. Y'all will be the first to know, well...the second to know when my next show is. eddie

Land of the Sky Gun and Knife Show Asheville Civic Center Asheville, North Carolina November 3-4, 2007
It felt like every thing kind of went full-circle....back around to our beginnings. Asheville was our first show last year, aside from my debut at the 2006 Blade Show Atlanta. It was in Asheville last year that I finally met GL Drew after numerous Bladeforums encounters, emails and calls to each other. Again, we stayed with Robb Anderson of Paragon Asheville Steel, always a pleasure. He has really boosted my business in these few short months. It was also encouraging to know that there are still American manufactured knives in American companies that I can do some contract work with. I met back up with the gentleman that had me to do my first custom tactical, the start of the Model X's. He reported that he has really given it some field wear and tear and that it is in absolute fine condition. We had to leave the show a little early, but had such a good time.
Carolina Collectors Promotions Jamil Temple Columbia, South Carolina October 13-14, 2007
South Carolina Arms Collectors Association Gun and Knife Show Carolina First Center (Palmetto Expo Center) One Exposition Drive Greenville, South Carolina September 22-23, 2007
This was our first time in Greenville for a show and it went very well! We sure did enjoy our time there and we sold a few knives, too!
Land of the Sky Gun and Knife Show Asheville Civic Center Asheville, North Carolina August 18-19, 2007
I can't begin to express what a great show we had! We paired up with Robb Anderson of Paragon Asheville Steel and really enjoyed our time in Asheville. Robb was kind enough to open his home as our B&B and he made us feel right at home. We always have a good show at the Land-o-Sky!
July 2007 South Carolina Arms Collectors Association Jamil Temple Columbia, SC
Robb Anderson of Paragon Asheville Steel joined us at the table and we proceeded to have a good and somewhat prosperous time. The crowds were the biggest I can remember seeing. We really enjoyed having repeat customers; makes me think I'm doing it right.
The 2007 International Blade Show
26th Annual Blade Show & International Cutlery Fair Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta Georgia
Friday June 8th through Sunday June 10th, 2007
What a wonderful show all the way around! Once again, we were at the Meyerco booth with Mike Manrose and company....Always a pleasure!
This year Randall King and Blackie Collins were at the booth with some of their latest works.
Bill Adams 'put on the dog' for us and quite a few other distinguished guests; showed us a real good time in Georgia!
I had my first experience giving a knifemaking demonstration at the Burr King booth. The fine folks at Burr King wanted to videotape it and now it's on the web!
I saw many familiar and friendly faces at the show and had the experience of a lifetime. It was a year ago when I started this venture at this very show. I think this has been an extraordinary first year all around. Oh yeah, and I sold a few blades too!
At the Blade Show 2007 in Atlanta, I demonstrated how I grind a knife blade on a Burr King grinder. The folks at Burr King made a video and you can click here to see it:
As usual, I sold a few. More importantly, I saw folks that had bought my knives previously and they were still very pleased. Some bought again, which is always a good sign. I enjoyed the stories each had about their Shadow Knife. I am glad that those that see and feel really like my work.
I'm finally getting over all my jitters about doing shows and meeting people.
LAND OF SKY GUN AND KNIFE SHOW
IN COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA AT THE STATE FAIRGROUNDS MARCH 17 AND 18, 2007
We had a pretty good show this time. It's getting to be commonplace that I sold a few, took a few orders, made some great connections, and learned a thing or two.
CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA AT THE LADSON FAIRGROUNDS
LAND OF THE SKY GUN AND KNIFE SHOW
FEBRUARY 17-18, 2007
We had a pretty fine time in Ladson where we discovered the full-circle.... We go to shows and tell folks about our website, but 2 different gentlemen told us that they searched for information on the show and our site came up! That was really cool that someone found us on the web and came to see us at the show. Mike Kent runs a nice show. Check out all his shows at www.MikeKentShows.net
I was also surprised at how many knowledgeable customers there were that really appreciated handmade craftsmanship and an American-made product. Thanks to all that took the time to visit the table and see my work.
COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA AT THE JAMIL TEMPLE
SOUTH CAROLINA ARMS COLLECTORS ASSOCIATION
JANUARY 13-14 2007
We had a great time and SCACA was top-notch! I sold quite a few, took some orders, and as always met some great people. South Carolina must truly be the Mecca of Knifemakers; there are so many good makers here in this state.

COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA AT THE STATE FAIRGROUNDS

Was a pretty fine show. Sold a few, took lots of orders! It's always a pleasure dealing with Mike Kent and his fine crew at Land Of the Sky.
CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA AT THE EXPO CENTER
DIXIELAND GUN AND KNIFE SHOW
THANKSGIVING WEEKEND, 2006
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the show and considered it a success with sales and orders and recognition of my work. I had the absolute unmitigated pleasure of meeting Mr. Rodney Shelton. I have to admit that I have been a complete bundle of nerves since this Internet venture started and the show-going, but Rodney has this inner-peace that just envelopes a person. I am so very grateful to have had a chance to talk to him. As busy as the show was, to him, it was just me and him for the longest. Thanks for helping me to find my calm and realizing that, just like you, I put a little bit of myself in each and every knife.
Table at LOS Gun Show in Asheville, NC (Oct. 2006)
LOS Gun Show Asheville Oct 21-22 2006
My wife and I made the journey to Asheville for the LOS Gun Show in October 2006. It was great to finally meet knifemaker GL Drew from Asheville. He makes a pretty nice knife for the price, too. I also met knifemakers Rick Lowe and Steven Rapp and appreciated their kind words and compliments. We met several nice folks that we will probably do business with for years to come. We met Mike and Carroll Harris that have a logo/advertising business. More about that here...
Although only one knife was sold at the show, I received a request to build a custom tactical for a gentleman at the show, as well as a couple of possible prototype and collaborations works.
Special thanks to Lee and Rhonda for giving us a nice place to stay, great food to eat, and nice company to enjoy!
The 2006 Blade Show
Eddie at his booth in the 2006 Blade Show in Atlanta
To me, The Blade Show was a huge success! I did not have high expectations; just wanted to get my name out there after 30 years of working in the shadows for everyone else.
I would like to thank Meyerco for inviting us-- I don't think I would have ever done this without their encouragement and invitation to the show. A special thanks to Mike Manrose from Meyerco for making the show lots of fun!
Many thanks to Burr King and Banyan Bay!
If you are reading this, you probably visited my table and took a business card. I cannot thank all of you enough for showing such enthusiam and appreciation of my works. There was a very special couple who wish to remain unnamed-- you know who you are, thanks L and D for buying so many of my knives and spreading the word!
I was thrilled that A.G. Russell took the time to come by and critique a few blades for me-- I appreciated the vote of confidence. Next year at the Blade Show I might actually enter some of the competitions!
